Because Axis develops enterprise systems, they do not default to slapping a cheap microphone on every device. Instead, they structure audio capabilities into distinct deployment tiers based on security requirements.

1. Integrated Microphone Models (Onboard Capturing)

Many of Axis's indoor models and specialized outdoor panoramic domes feature a highly discreet, built-in environmental microphone capsule.
